Biography
As a senior (2017)
• Spent a majority of the season in the floor lineup and also competed on vault and beam.
• Competed on floor in 10 meets and on beam five times.
• Scored a 9.775 on floor at team finals for the USAG Collegiate nationals.
• Her season high on beam was a 9.775 at the Big Red Invitational, good for fifth overall.
• Hit for 9.725 or better on beam three times, including at team finals at the USAG Collegiate nationals.
• Three times posted scores of 9.675 or better on both beam and floor at the same meet.
• Named to the ECAC All-Academic team.
As a junior (2016)
• Competed in the line in all four events during the season.
• Primarily a starter on beam and floor, earning a regional qualifying score on floor.
• Scored a 9.700 on beam at the Ivy Classic to place fifth overall.
• Was part of the beam lineup at the ECAC Championships to place among the top 20 and help Cornell to its second team title.
• Earned a spot on the ECAC All-Academic team.
As a sophomore (2015)
• Chiellini was a reliable three-event starter who was a regular starter on vault, beam and floor.
• Had three vaults and two beam routines scored 9.5 or better and had five floor routines of 9.6 or higher, with a best of 9.725 at home against Bridgeport and William & Mary.
• She missed the ECAC championships due to injury.
As a freshman (2014)
• A three-event starter (vault, beam, floor) during her freshman campaign, Chiellini finished third on floor for the Big Red at the USA Collegiate National and Ivy Classic meets.
• She started every meet on floor and all but two on beam and was one of the team’s most consistent performer on vault over the first eight meets.
• Her season-best 9.725 on floor came at the Ivy Classic and she hit at least 9.5 on both vault and beam consistently.
Prior to Cornell
• Chiellini was a Level 10 state and regional qualifier in her final two seasons of high school at Newsome HS while competing for Golden City Gymnastics.
• A team captain in her final season, she was a Level 9 state and regional champion in 2011 and finished second at the Eastern National championships later that year.
• She was named the team's Fantastic Role Model award in 2012.
Personal
• Krystin Taylor Chiellini is the daughter of Christopher and Sandra Chiellini and has a younger brother.
• She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
