As a freshman (2017)
• Did not compete.
Prior to Cornell
• Mak was a three-time state and two-time regional Level 10 meet qualifier while competing for Phoenix Gymnastics.
• Finished fourth nationally on beam at the Eastern National Gymnastics championship in 2013.
• Won a Level 9 state title on beam and captured second on floor, vault, bars and in the all-around.
• Earned the Level 9 regional floor title and placed third on beam and in the all-around in 2013.
Personal
• Michelle Hwei-Sen Mak is the daughter of Ka-Yiu Mak and Amy Yue and has two older sisters.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
