Competed on the bars and beam in all 12 meets… recorded six beam routines at 9.6 or higher… set season-high mark on the beam at the GEC Championship at 9.750… named a GEC Scholar-Athlete.
2023-24 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Appeared in 11 meets in first season for Big Red ... saw action on beam and uneven bars ... made Big Red debut at season-opening Lindsey Ferris Invitational, taking home gold with a career-best 9.850 and earning GEC Rookie of the Week honors ... had all eleven beam scores higher than 9.5 ... scored a 9.800 at Ivy Classic to help Big Red set a new program record of 48.450 in event ... grabbed bronze with 9.750 in regular-season finale at West Chester ... saw action on bars in nine invites with six scores above a 9.6 ... scored a career and team-best 9.800 to grab gold in Big Red's final home meet against Centenary ... named a GEC and USAG Scholar-Athlete.
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Tehrani was a Level 10 qualifier while competing for Airborne Gymnastics and attending Irvington HS ... Was a national qualifier and placed in the top 10 on bars and floor, and 4th on beam and all-around at Regionals in 2023... Finished second in the all-around and beam and third on floor at the 2022 Level 10 state meet ... earned Level 9 Western National All-around title in 2021 ... claimed Level 9 regional vault, bars and all-around titles in 2021.

Natalia Tehrani is the daughter of Gilda Defaii and Nik Tehrani and has an older sister ... her sister, Natasha, competes in track and field at Long Beach State ... she is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
