Biography
At Cornell
Wetter is a two-year starter on floor, she emerged as a started on bars as well during her junior season in 2013. A consistent scorer, she posted scores of at least 9.450 in nine different meets on bars. Her career high of 9.650 came at the Big Red Invitational. Wetter scored a career-best 9.5 on bars at the Big Red Invitational and notched a season-best 9.450 on floor at Kent State as a sophomore in 2012. Wetter saw action on vault and floor as a freshman, including scoring a career-best 9.500 on floor as part of the lineup at the Towson Invitational.
Prior to Cornell
Wetter served as captain at the United Sports Academy in 2009-10. She is a Level 10 gymnast who attended Holy Cross HS.
Personal
Sarah Amalene Wetter is the daughter of James and Janine Wetter and has a brother and sister.
