Biography
At Cornell
Chen saw time on vault and beam as a junior in 2011, including posting the team's top score to earn USAG All-America accolades on vault. She scored a 9.725 at nationals for her second All-America honor. Chen started a majority of her sophomore season on vault and also earned time in the lineup on bars and on floor in 2009-10. She earned All-America honors on vault as a freshman, capturing fourth place at the USAG Collegiate Nationals. She was a full-time starter on vault and also contributed to the bars lineup and could see a starting role on both events again in 2011. Chen registered a career-best 9.750 on vault in three different meets and was at 9.6 or better in three of her final four meets. On bars, her best effort was her first, scoring an impressive 9.725 against Temple. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
In Secondary School
A graduate of Sonora HS, she was a Level 10 regional and national competitor. Chen was the Western National vault champion in 2006 and was a qualifier to Junior Olympic Nationals for several years. In high school, she was on the Principal’s Honor Roll and received several Academic Achievement Awards.

Tiffany S. Chen is the daughter of Zara and Dah-ming Chen and has three older siblings.
