2024 | SENIOR SEASON
Earned First-Team All-Ivy honors after a record-breaking senior season ... led the Ivy League in passing yards (2,533), passing touchdowns (24), total offense (303.3 yards per game), and points responsible for (188), ranking first in the FCS in points responsible for per game (18.8) ... became the first player in Ivy League history to record 50 career passing touchdowns and 25 career rushing touchdowns ... finished top two in the Ivy League in eight offensive categories and top 10 in the FCS in four ... recorded 109 carries for 500 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, averaging 4.6 yards per carry ... posted six games with 250+ passing yards, four with 50+ rushing yards, and eight games with three or more touchdowns accounted for ... named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week once in 2024 ... started each of the final 30 games of his collegiate career, the longest streak in Big Red history ... finished third in career passing yards (6,959) and 10th in career rushing yards (1,816), while accounting for 78 career touchdowns (No. 2 all-time at Cornell).
2023 | JUNIOR SEASONÂ
Earned second-team All-Ivy League honors... led the Ivy League in completion percentage (64.8 percent) while attempting the third-most passes (375 attempts)... the completion percentage was good for 23rd nationally... was third in the Ivy in passing yards (2,472 yards), passing yards per game (247.2 yards per game), and completions (243 completions)... scored the third most points in the Ivy by a non-kicker, accounting for nine passing touchdowns and a two-point conversion....his nine rushing touchdowns helped him set the school record for most-career rushing touchdowns by a quarterback, which sits at 20 after the 2023 season.... finished second in the Ivy and eighth nationally in total offense, averaging 288 yards per game.
2022 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Honorable mention All-Ivy League ... accounted for a league-best 22 touchdowns (14 passing, 8 rushing) ... rushed for 559 yards (4.2 yards per carry) and passed for 1,650 yards and 14 scores (.573 completion percentage) ... ranked in the top 100 nationally in 14 offensive categories ... completed 18-of-27 passes for a career-high 284 yards and a touchdown and ran for two others in a win at Colgate ... his 98 rushing yards vs. the Raiders were the most by a Big Red quarterback since 2007 ... accounted for four touchdowns (three rushing, one passing) against Harvard and three more vs. Penn (two passing, one rushing) ... became the first Cornell player to run for three touchdowns in a game since 2016 and the first player to account for four scores in a contest since 2016 ... had a 53-yard run against Penn, the longest by a Big Red player since 2019 ... had five games with multiple touchdown passes ... with 50 points, became the first Cornell quarterback to lead the team in scoring since Ryan Kuhn in 2005 (72 points).Â
2021 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Second freshman to lead Cornell in rushing (Luke Hagy) with 349 yards and four touchdowns (5.5 yards per carry) ... ranked seventh in the league in total offense in league games only ... at quarterback, completed 26-of-40 passes for 304 yards and four touchdowns with four interceptions ... named Ivy League Rookie of the Week after becoming the first Cornell freshman to throw and run for a touchdown in the same game in the win over Colgate ... completed all four passes for 16 yards and a touchdown and ran 12 times for a game-high 84 yards and a score against the Raiders ... ran for 101 yards and a touchdown on nine carries and completed 7-of-13 passes for 121 yards and two more scores against Brown ... had 51 rushing yards on 12 carries and threw for a touchdown against No. 15 Princeton and its defense, which was allowing just 53.3 yards per game ... ran 10 times for 55 yards and two touchdowns while throwing for 55 more yards and a two-point conversion in a 15-12 victory at Penn.
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Wang was a four-year varsity starter at quarterback and two-year team captain ... set five single-season school records at Harvard-Westlake School (completion percentage, yards per completion, passing touchdowns per game, longest pass and quarterback rating) prior to transferring to Oaks Christian School to play his senior season ... compiled a total of 10,305 yards and 114 touchdowns in his high school career (8,255 yards and 84 touchdowns passing; 2,050 yards and 30 touchdowns rushing) ... earned CIF-SS League Offensive MVP honors both sophomore and senior years, and CIF-SS first-team all-league honors junior year ... made the All-Ventura County Team senior year ... received the highest recognition at both high schools: Oaks Christian Football Offensive MVP senior year and the Harvard-Westlake Male Breakthrough Athlete of the Year sophomore year ... selected Southern California Prep Athlete of the Week and Ventura County Star Prep Athlete of the Week multiple times ... invited to the Nike Elite 11 and Under Armour All-American combines, earning two-time Regional Finalist honors at both ... ended his high school football career with a championship win in the Lijufa International Bowl in Mexico, where he was selected first-round quarterback by his coach, NFL legend and Heisman trophy winner, Ricky Williams ... was a three-sport athlete who also lettered three times in basketball and ran track and field.
