2025 | JUNIOR SEASON
Played and started in 38 games… batted .292 with six doubles and three home runs… drove in 21 runs and scored 20… recorded five multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games… posted a six-game hitting streak and an eight-game reached base streak… earned Second Team All-Ivy honors and was named Cornell’s representative for the Academic All-Ivy Team.
2024 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in 37 games with 37 starts in left field… batted .279… had 31 hits with 10 doubles, tied for the team lead… drove in 11 runs… had 61 putouts and one assist… earned Academic All-Ivy honors… joined Cornell University’s 400 Club, which recognizes student-athletes with a 4.0 grade-point average or higher
2023 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Saw action in 42 games… registered five home-runs… scored 19 runs… earned 10 doubles and two triples.
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Served a two-year stint as captain of West Bloomfield HS softball… helped her squad to a conference championship in 2019… three-time all-conference selection (2019, 2021 and 2022)… recognized as the team MVP in 2019, 2021 and 2022… Academic All-Conference team (2019, 2021, 2022)… West Bloomfield single-season home run record holder… West Bloomfield batting average record holder (single-season and career).
PERSONAL
Sydney Emma Stapf is the daughter of Bennet and Heather Stapf… has three younger brothers and a younger sister… she is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
