Freshman Season - 2011
Gallagher made her collegiate debut on Sept. 20 in the Big Red's game at Berman Field against visiting La Salle.

Before Cornell
Gallagher was a three-time conference all-star and a Section IV all-star, serving as team captain for two seasons. She also played internationally in France. Gallagher excelled in the classroom, being recognized as a scholar-athlete all four years, and on the field, earning team most valuable player honors. She also played a season of basketball and ran track and field while in seventh and eighth grades, setting a school record that has yet to be broken.

Personal
Clara Derrick Gallagher is the daughter of Timothy Gallagher and Rachel Dickinson and has a younger brother and an older and younger sister. She has five relatives who previously attended Cornell, dating back to 1911. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
