Sophomore Season — 2013
Zaidel appeared in all but one of the Big Red's games, including five starts. She was inserted into the lineup at both defender and midfield.

Freshman Season — 2012
Zaidel was one of just two freshmen on the squad to appear in all 16 games, and her 15 starts led all newcomers. A regular on the defensive flank, Zaidel was never afraid to push forward and join the attack. She came off the bench in her collegiate debut on Sept. 1 at Georgetown, assisting Jaclyn Katz's goal. Zaidel added another assist Sept. 28 in Ivy League play, when her long ball up the middle sent Maneesha Chitanvis in for a goal against Penn.

Prior to Cornell
Zaidel led Gill St. Bernard’s School in scoring as both a freshman and sophomore while starting at the center midfield position. She was a three-time all-conference selection before suffering an injury that kept her out of action as a senior. Zaidel played her club soccer with Matchfit Chelsea FC, and she also won a regional Olympic Development Program tournament while playing with the 2010 New Jersey squad. She also competed for multiple seasons with the indoor and outdoor track teams, setting numerous school records.

Personal
Morgan Alexandra Zaidel is the daughter of Michael Zaidel and Randi Isaacs. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
