Biography
Why Sudol Chose Cornell: I chose Cornell because I was impressed by the caliber of the engineering program when I went to a camp over the summer. I also love the Ithaca area!

At Cornell
As a junior (2017-18)
• Rowed in the bow-seat of the second varsity eight throughout her junior season.
• Helped the second varsity eight defeat Navy.
As a sophomore (2016-17)
• Began her sophomore season as a member of the second varsity eight.
• Rowed for the varsity eight against Dartmouth and at the 2017 Ivy League Women’s Rowing Championships.
As a freshman (2015-16)
• Rowed in the varsity four B and the varsity four A during her junior season.
• The crew opened the year with a victory over Penn and UMass at the Doc Hosea Invitational Regatta.
• Also helped the varsity four B to a win at Dartmouth.
Prior to Cornell
• Rowed for Community Rowing, Inc. in Brighton, Mass.
• Her highest finish with Community was a fifth place showing at the 2014 USRowing Youth Nationals.
Personal
• Basia Anna Sudol is the daughter of Wojtek and Roskanna Sudol and she has one older sister.
• Enrolled in the College of Engineering. Â
