Biography

Why Travis Chose Cornell: Cornell gives me the strongest academic and research opportunities to excel, while still providing numerous clubs and activities pertaining to my interests in the environment and humanitarian issues. I found the faculty to be excited to teach and the students excited to learn. Cornell's large campus allows me to explore and meet students from many different cultures around the globe. On top of that the supportive and dynamic atmosphere on the rowing team will allow me to continue to challenge and improve myself. All these factors led me to believe that Cornell is the perfect fit.
