Biography
Why I Chose Cornell: I chose Cornell because of its beautiful campus and outstanding academics.
Prior to Cornell
Schmidt rode horses competitively, competing in five NBHA World Championships and three National Championships on her horse, Goober. She won ribbons at the Garden State Horse Show and the Hampton Classic. Schmidt also ran distance, competing in her first half marathon her senior year of high school.
Personal
Cali is the daughter of Steve and Jane Schmidt and has two sisters and a brother. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
