Why Catalana Chose Cornell: “The opportunity to attend the best hospitality leadership program in the world”
Prior to Cornell
Catalana was a four-time letter winner in rowing at Our Lady of Mercy Academy, where she led the team to back-to-back Atlantic County Championships (2011, 2012). Her team was runner-up at the Garden State Championships in 2011, before winning the Garden State Championship as a senior co-captain. She also competed for PennAC Gold, participating in Club Nationals and the Canadian Henley. Catalana also lettered three times in soccer.
Personal
Rebekah Caroline Catalana is the daughter of Carmine and Dana Catalana and has one older brother, Nick ’11, who rowed at Cornell, and one older sister. She is enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration.
