• At Phillips Exeter Academy was a member of the rowing, tennis and squash teams

• Gabriella Gabel is the daughter of Linda and Matt Gabel, and has one younger sister
• Sister, Alexandra is a coxswain for the University of Michigan women's rowing team
• Enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
