2015-16 Women's Rowing Roster
Biography
Why Stenovec Chose Cornell: I made a few official visits to other schools, but nothing compared to my Cornell visit. I loved the campus, and more importantly, I felt very comfortable with the current members of the crew team and the coaching staff. Furthermore, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences had a Biology and Society major which fit directly with my interest in a possible career in nutritional science. It was clear that Cornell would offer me the opportunity to excel as a student-athlete.
At Cornell
Sophomore (2015-16): Stenovec moved into the third varsity eight during her sophomore season, helping the Big Red to a victory over Dartmouth.
Freshman (2014-15): As a freshman, Stenovec rowed in the fourth varsity C boat that was the Big Red’s top finisher at the 2015 Ivy League Women’s Rowing Championship, with a fourth place finish overall.
