Biography

Why I Chose Cornell: I adored the intellectual, yet laid back, atmosphere of the university, the passion of the students, the gorgeous campus and the city of Ithaca. The prospect of being able to study Global Health with extensive resources, and the opportunity to study abroad also really appealed to me. I wanted to be somewhere that would be academically rigorous yet modest in reputation, and Cornell fit that bill. I additionally wanted to be somewhere with a competitive rowing program so that I would be challenged both mentally and physically and be pushed to succeed in both areas.

At Cornell
Sophomore (2015-16): As a sophomore, DiPietro moved into the second varsity eight. She helped the Big Red defeat Boston University by open water in a race at Brown. Following the season, she was named a CRCA National Scholar Athlete.
