Achille was a two-sport athlete at Brookville Area Junior/Senior high school, lettering four times in track and field and three times in soccer. She earned a district medal in track and helped her soccer team to a runner-up finish in the state playoffs.

Kara Anne Achille is the daughter of John and Diana Achille and she has three younger sisters. She is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
