Biography
Why Canaan Chose Cornell: The combination of rigorous academics and an esteemed rowing tradition at Cornell presents amazing opportunities. After going on an official visit and feeling the sense of community within the rowing team and within the university as a whole, I knew that Cornell was the school for me. I know that at Cornell I can excel both on the water and in the classroom, and I cannot see myself rowing and studying anywhere else!
