Why Meidenbauer Chose Cornell: The combination of both high-level academics and rowing team will provide me with the best opportunity to succeed.

At Cornell
As a sophomore (2019-20)
• Rowed with the “C” boat during round one of the Princeton Chase, finishing with a time of 16:41.944.
• Rowed with the “C” boat during round two of the Princeton Chase, crossing the finish line in 17:13.992.
• On fours boat “D” at the Cornell Autumn Classic, finished with a time of 15:35.02.
• Finished in seventh place at the Cornell Autumn Classic rowing in the “C” eights boat that crossed the line in 14:04.94.

As a freshman (2018-19)
• Competed with the varsity four during her freshman campaign.

Prior to Cornell

• Rowed with Saratoga Rowing Association.
• Gold medal in the varsity eight at the 2018 SRAA Championships.
• Took eighth place in the women’s youth eight at the 2018 USRowing Youth Nationals.
• Placed fourth in the women’s youth coxed quad at the 2017 Head of the Charles.
• Won gold in both the girls’ under-17 eight and quad categories, and took silver in the under-17 four at the 2016 Canadian Henley.
• Earned silver in the varsity eight at the 2016 SRAA Nationals.
• Placed fifth overall in the women’s youth four event at the 2015 Head of the Charles.
• Gold medalist in the freshman eight at the 2015 SRAA Nationals.
 

Personal

• Lorelei Eva Meidenbauer is the daughter of Michael and Heidi Meidenbauer and she has three brothers and two sisters.
• Enrolled in the College of Engineering.
