Biography
At Cornell
During her junior season, Perkins rowed in the varsity eight that placed fifth overall at the 2015 Ivy League Women’s Rowing Championship. She also helped the Big Red to win the Parents’ Cup and Class of ’89 Points Plate with regular-season victories over Dartmouth and Penn, respectively. Following the season, Perkins traveled to England with the Big Red to participate in the program's first-ever trip to the Henley Women's Regatta, where she rowed as a member of the varsity eight in the Elite 8 race. As a sophomore, Perkins rowed in the varsity eight that finished fifth at the 2014 Ivy League Women’s Rowing Championship. Following the season, she was selected to participate in the USRowing Women’s National Team Pre-Elite Camp. Perkins was the only freshman to row in the second varsity eight. She helped the Big Red to take fourth place at the 2013 Ivy League Women's Rowing Championship, before winning the C Finals at the 2013 NCAA Women’s Rowing Championship for a 13th place finish overall.
