Served as coxswain of 3V8+ during spring season at Cayuga Cup (April 6), EARC Women's Springs (May 5), and Ivy League Championships (May 18-19) ... coxed novice 8+ to victory at Head of the Fish (Oct. 28).
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Five-year member of rowing team at Manhasset Secondary ... twice named Coxswain of the Year (2021 and 2023) ... also was elected team captain for 2022-23 season.

Sofia Lago is the daughter of Laureano and Simone Lago, and has two younger siblings ... enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
