Biography

Why Bowman Chose Cornell: I was originally interested in Cornell University because of its outstanding academics, highly ranked engineering program and the fact that it had a rowing team. My first introduction to the school was during a recruiting trip. I didn't know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised when I met the girls on the team and the coaches. The girls were welcoming and friendly and the coaches were awesome! As we explored the campus, I instantly fell in love with it. The classes I attended were all interesting and I could easily see myself fitting in. After my visit, I knew that Cornell was the only place for me.
