At Cornell
Goetzinger who was named first-team CRCA All-American following her senior season, becoming the first repeat CRCA All-American selection in Cornell history. Goetzinger rowed seventh seat in the varsity eight boat that placed 11th overall at the 2012 NCAA Women's Rowing Championship. She was also named second-team All-Ivy after helping Cornell to a silver medal in the varsity eight race at the Ivy League Championship. She was a three-time CRCA All-Mid Atlantic Regional selection, earning first-team honors as a junior and as a senior after being named to the second team as a sophomore. Following her senior season, she helped the United State women’s eight to a gold medal at the Under 23 World Rowing Championship, held in Trakai, Lithuania. As a junior, she helped the varsity eight boat to wins against Yale, Harvard and Dartmouth as the crew was consistently ranked in the top 20, reaching as high as No. 10.Follwoing the season, Goetzinger was given the team’s Lianne Ritter Memorial Award, presented annually to a junior member of the women's rowing team who best exemplifies the pursuit of excellence in the sport of rowing, scholarship, and leadership.
