Biography

Why Myczkowska Chose Cornell: At Cornell, people are passionate. Every person I met on campus had a goal, a dream that they were actively working to fulfill. This strong sense of determination and curiosity proved inspiring. I chose Cornell because I felt it was a place where great things can happen. At Cornell, dreams become realities, but only after a student has proven themselves through hard work, dedication, and tenacity. As I began a new chapter of my life, I sought a school that would challenge me, both academically and athletically, and push me to be the best that I can possibly be. Cornell is a place where students and athletes alike only demand excellence of themselves.

At Cornell
During her sophomore season, Myczkowska rowed in the third varsity eight that placed fifth at the 2015 Ivy League Women’s Rowing Championship. She also rowed in the third varsity eight that defeated Dartmouth during the regular season. As a freshman, Myczkowska rowed in the second varsity four, as well as the third varsity eight that finished sixth overall at the 2014 Ivy League Women’s Rowing Championship.

Prior to Cornell
Myczkowska rowed for five years, helping the Bromfield School to three Massachusetts Public School State Champions, as well as two runner up finishes. She helped the varsity eight to place 13th at the 2012 Youth National Championships and competed in the 2013 Henley Royal Regatta and Henley Women's Regatta.  Myczkowska also attended the 2009 USRowing Junior B Sculling Development Camp.
