Cornell University Athletics

As a senior (2015-16)
• Named to the MAISA All-Conference first team crew.
Crewed the Big Red to a win at the Jack Boehringer Memorial Regatta to open the season.
• Served as the crew for the War Memorial, Prosser Trophy and America Trophy conference championship regattas.
• Also competed in the North Fall Qualifier and in the Rose Bowl, helping the Big Red to a fifth-place effort among 29 teams in California.
• Skippered Cornell entries at the Women’s Clinigatta, the MAISA Women’s Fall Dinghy and the MAISA Women’s Championship.
• Was the skipper for the B division entry at the MAISA Women’s Fall Dinghy regatta for four races and crewed for teammate Gillian • Boehringer in five other races.
• Earned her second varsity letter. .

As a junior (2014-15)
• Named to the All-MAISA Women's Crew second team.
• Crewed the B division entry at the North Spring Qualifier, Cornell's first regatta win as a varsity program.
• Helped the program earn an invitation to nationals with a sixth-place finish at the MAISA Women's Dinghy Championship. Her A division boating that she crewed finished fourth.
• Part of the crew of both boats as Cornell qualified for national finals with a ninth-place effort at the Sperry Women's Western Semifinal.
• Crewed two races in Cornell's first varsity home regatta, the Fall Open.
• Was a member of Cornell's first varsity sailing team in 2014-15.

Prior to Cornell
• Riedman was a three-sport athlete (sailing, volleyball, lacrosse) while attending The Bishop’s School.
• She was captain of the sailing team her senior year and earned all-tournament honors in volleyball, as well as a pair of all-academic accolades.
• Riedman sailed for Snipe Sailing, placing second at junior nationals in 2012 and qualifying for the world championships.
• She placed fifth at the North Americans meet in 2011.

Personal
• Catherine Claire Riedman is the daughter of Jim and Carron Riedman and has two older brothers.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
