Cornell University Athletics

As a senior (2017-18)

• Competed in seven varsity regattas.
• Was Cornell's top finisher at the Faye Bennett Women's, taking 10th overall.
• Crewed six races in A Division as the Big Red won the Susan Rogers '75 Memorial.
• Crewed five races in A Division and served as skipper for one race in B Division as the Big Red qualified for women's nationals by placing eighth at the MAISA Women's.
 

As a junior (2016-17)

• Was skipper for one race at the Sperry Women's National Semifinal.
• Skippered races at the MAISA Women's Spring and the Old Dominion Spring Women's regattas.
• Crewed and skippered races for the Big Red at the Navy Spring Women's as part of an eighth-place team finish.
 

As a sophomore (2015-16)

• Skippered six varsity entries during her sophomore campaign.
• Earned a spot at the Faye Bennett Women’s Singlehandeds, finishing eighth overall.
• Helped the Big Red win the home Clinigatta along with crew Tara Bergstrom as the B division entry.
• Helped Cornell to a ninth-place effort at the MAISA Women’s Fall Dinghy regatta.
 

As a freshman (2014-15)

• Finished eighth at the Navy Radial Open to qualify for the Faye Bennett National Championship, where she placed ninth.
• Skippered boats at seven varsity regattas.
• Was a member of Cornell's first varsity sailing team in 2015.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Boehringer was a two-year captain and four-year member of the sailing team while attending King Low Heywood Thomas School.
• She also competed in soccer as a goalkeeper, as well as squash.
 

Personal

• Gillian Grace Boehringer is the daughter of Bob and Deb Boehringer and has an older brother, John '16.
• Along with her brother, her grandfather, grandmother, father, aunt and a number of other relatives attended Cornell.
• She is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
