Cornell University Athletics

As a senior (2016-17)
• Named to the MAISA all-conference crew squad.
• Crewed 15 varsity regattas, including the War Memorial and America Trophy conference championship regattas.
• Sailed in the A Division in seven races, including at the America Trophy in helping the Big Red qualify for women's nationals.
• Was part of the team that won the Washington College Team Race trophy.
• Won three races during the season.
• Earned her third varsity letter.

As a junior (2015-16)
• Crewed 10 varsity regattas, including Cornell boats as the MAISA Championship and the America Trophy race.
• Competed in the A Division at the Captain Hurst Bowl at Dartmouth.
• Raced in four of the five team race events the Big Red entered in 2016.
• Earned her second varsity letter.

As a sophomore (2014-15)
• Crewed two races for the B division entry at national semifinals and finals.
• Helped the program earn an invitation to nationals with a ninth-place finish at the MAISA Women's Dinghy Championship.
• Finished ninth in the B division as a crew.
• Crewed the A division at Cornell's first varsity regatta, the home Fall Open, on the way to a fifth-place finish. Also did four races in the B division entry.
• Competed in a total of 10 regattas on the season.
• Was a member of Cornell's first varsity sailing team in 2015.

Prior to Cornell
• Barbera was captain of the CCSC Sailing team out of Brewster, Mass.

Personal
• Julie Page Barbera is the daughter of John and Kathleen Barbera and has an older brother.
• Her mother played soccer at Wheaton and her father captained the rugby team at Boston University.
• Barbera is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
