Biography

As a senior (2018-19)

• Earned first-team All-MAISA crew honors.
• Crewed five A division races in the Sperry Women's Western Semifinals, helping Cornell advance to the finals.
• Saw action in two races as crew in the national women's finals.
• Sailed B division at the coed nationals for four races.
• Competed in fall conference championships at the MAISA Women's and War Memorial.
• Sailed in the Prosser Trophy and MAISA Women's qualifiers in the spring, helping the Big Red earn a spot in the women's championship.
• Crewed races in Big Red regatta wins at the Jen Harris Women's, Susan Rogers '75 Memorial and MAISA Team Race Challenge.
• Competed in 15 varsity regattas during the season.
 

As a junior (2017-18)

• Competed in 11 varsity regattas.
• Part of the crew at the Prosser Trophy that qualified for the Team Race nationals fior the first time in program history.
• Helped Cornell qualify for women's nationals, crewing six races in A Division at the MAISA Women's.
• Was part of the crew in B Division at the Coed National Championships.
• Competed in four Team Race events.
• Raced in B Division at the Rose Bowl Regatta.
• Competed in 11 varsity regattas.
 

As a sophomore (2016-17)

• Competed in nine varsity regattas as a sophomore.
• Crewed four races in B division at the Sperry Women's National Semifinals.
• Part of the team that qualified with a fifth-place effort at the MAISA Women's Spring, posting a top 10 finish in all 15 races along with skipper Gabby Rizika - including two race wins.
• Also sailed in the America Trophy conference championship.
• Sailed A division at the Rose Bowl.
 

As a freshman (2015-16)

• Competed in 11 varsity regattas as a freshman.
• Worked as both skipper and crew during the race year.
• Crewed the B division entry in Cornell’s Jack Boehringer Memorial Regatta victory, as well as the win at the Tom Noble Team Race.
• Crewed 10 races at the MAISA Women’s Fall Dinghy and all eight races at the Rose Bowl.
• Skippered the MAISA Women’s Championship B division entry, claiming six top 10 race finishes.
• Earned her first varsity letter.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Competed in varsity sailing and swimming at Sage Hill School.
• Lettered in swimming one season.
 

Personal

• Kimberly Qi Wong is the daughter of KayKay and Jennifer Wong.
• She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
