Biography

As a sophomore (2020-21)

• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a freshman (2019-20)

• Captured second-team All-MAISA skipper honors.
• Became the first Cornell sailor to win the Faye Bennett MAISA Women's Singlehanded Championship.
• Of the 14 races completed, Myers took first place in half of them, including in five of the last six, to wrap up the conference championship.
• Went on to place fifth at the LaserPerformance Women's Singlehanded Nationals, finishing as the top freshman in the field of 18 of the top collegiate sailors and posting the top finish in school history.
• Competed in seven regattas during her rookie season.
• Finished second at the season-opening Kings Point Women's Regatta with teammate Pia Corujo in her collegiate debut.
• Helped Cornell to second at the Stu Nelson Women's and a top five finish at the Yale Women's Interconference and the Old Dominion Spring Women's.
• Named the team's Rookie of the Year.

Prior to Cornell

• Took second at the ISSA Singlehanded National Championship in 2017-18 while attending Riverview HS.
• Competed in the SAISA District championships in each of the last three years.
• Claimed fifth at the 2018 Laser Radial Youth World Championship in Kiel, Germany.
• Finished fourth at the 2018 US Sailing Youth Championship.
• Competed in multiple Olympic Laser Class events at the World Level with competition all over the world.
• Competed at the world championship in Japan in the summer of 2019.
 

Personal

• Lillian Susanne Myers is the daughter of Gene and Susanne Myers and has two older brothers.
• She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
