Cornell University Athletics

As a senior (2016-17)
• Competed in nine varsity regattas, including the MAISA Women's Fall and America Trophy races.
• Crewed a boat that was part of Cornell's win at the Washington College Team Race.
• Had two race wins and three runner-up finishes over six races at the Susan Rogers '75 Memorial.
• Three of her competitions were team races.

As a junior (2015-16)
• Competed in 11 varsity regattas, including a pair of conference championships.
• Crewed seven races at the MAISA Women’s Fall Dinghy, helping the Big Red to a top 10 team finish.
• Crewed three team races, including a seventh-place effort for the Prosser Trophy.
• Part of a fourth-place finish for the Owen, Mosbacher and Knapp Trophies while crewing the B division for five races.
• Earned her second varsity letter.

As a sophomore (2014-15)
• Crewed one race for the A division boat and seven for the B division in the national finals.
• Crewed the B entry for 12 of 14 races at the national semifinals, helping Cornell to a sixth-place effort as a team.
• Placed fifth in the A division at Cornell's first varsity regatta, the home Fall Open, as a crew.
• Competed in 13 varsity regattas.
• Was a member of Cornell's first varsity sailing team in 2015.

Prior to Cornell
• Gimple competed in sailing and tennis while attending Stonington HS.
• A two-year captain of the sailing team, she served as skipper during her three years.
• Gimple was part of three league champion tennis squads and a state titleist as a senior captain while primarily playing doubles.

Personal
• Lindsay Michelle Gimple is the daughter of Matthew and Tori Gimple and has a younger brother and sister.
• She is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
