Biography
Senior Season — 2015
Gaggioli appeared in all of Cornell's 17 games, earning seven starts as an outside midfielder. She scored her first goal as a member of the Big Red against Cleveland State on Sept. 4 as part of St. Bonaventure's Alumni Classic. She later added an assist on Senior Day against Brown on Oct. 24, orchestrating a short corner with Elizabeth Crowell before sending a cross into the box that was headed by Shanay Fischer to Charlotte Tate for the game's first goal.
Junior Season — 2014
After earning a spot with the team as a walk-on, Gaggioli appeard in 14 of the Big Red's 17 games — including three starts. She proved to be versatile, appearing at both forward and in the midfield. She fired six shots toward goal, with one on target.
Prior to Cornell
Gaggioli joined the Big Red as a transfer, having played two seasons at George Washington. She appeared in 32 matches with the Colonials, scoring one goal and assisting on another. The goal she scored came against the Big Red on Sept. 3, 2012. Gaggioli was named three times each to the GW Athletics Academics Dean's List and Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Personal
Amanda Mary Gaggioli is the daughter of Edward and Tracey Gaggioli, and she has two brothers and one sister. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
