Before Cornell
Gregory was a four-year first-team all-league selection and was named the league player of the year as a senior. She was named second-team all-state as a junior after earning fourth-team all-state honors as a sophomore. Gregory also was a three-time all-Section III team honoree while guiding her school to a regional championship in 2007 and sectional titles in 2006 and 2007. She also lettered in volleyball three times and track and field five times, winning the sectional championship in the pentathlon as a freshman and sophomore.

Personal
Rebecca Joy Gregory is the daughter of Robert and Eva Gregory, and she has an older and younger sister. Her mother competed in crew at Oral Roberts. She is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
