Biography
At Cornell
McGuire appeared in five games on the year as a sophomore, starting the opener against Hofstra for her first collegiate start. She appeared in three contests as a freshman, making her collegiate debut in the loss at Colgate on Sept. 27. She also saw time against Penn three days later and at Buffalo on Oct. 18.
At Albuquerque Academy
A four-time letter winner in soccer while at Albuquerque Academy, McGuire was a four-time all-district and all-state selection, helping her team to a state title in 2003. Her club team won seven state championships while she was a member of the squad. She received the Follansbee Award for citizenship and the Thomas Tooker student-athlete award.
Personal
Brenna Lynn McGuire is the daughter of Paul and Barbara McGuire and has a younger sister. McGuire is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
