Biography
At Cornell
During her sophomore season, Kuhn made 16 appearances, all starts, for the Big Red. She picked up her first collegiate point with an assist on one of Lena Russomagno's three goals on Sept. 16 against Lafayette, a 3-2 Cornell victory. She finished the season with one point on nine shots. Kuhn appeared in 12 of the Big Red’s 17 contests as a freshman, making one start and coming off the bench in the other 11 games. She made her first collegiate start on Oct. 3 against Bucknell.
At Madison West
A three-sport letter recipient while attending Madison West HS, Kuhn excelled at soccer, tennis, and basketball. She was her high school’s female athlete of the year, all-conference player of the year, all-city player of the year, and was named to the Wisconsin all-star soccer team in 2006. She was the tennis team’s MVP in 2003 and 2005, and was the captain of the varsity basketball team her senior year.
Personal
Emily J. Kuhn is the daughter of Thomas and Jane Kuhn and she has two younger sisters. Kuhn is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
