Biography
At Cornell
Case appeared in three games for the Big Red and was pressed into service as a goalkeeper during the latter half of her senior season. She played 80 minutes of scoreless soccer in the 1-0 loss at Princeton on Oct. 27, then surrendered two goals in the first half against Columbia on Nov. 10. She finished the year with a 1.44 goals-against average with three saves and an 0-1 record. Injuries have limited Case to just one appearance over the last two seasons. She made the only appearance of her junior season in the contest against St. Bonaventure on Sept. 6. As a freshman, she played in 11 games, making a pair of starts. Case took seven shots during the season from her position on the back line.
At Torrey Pines
Case was a member of the varsity squad at Torrey Pines HS for three years, serving as the team’s captain as a senior. She was a three-time All-North County League selection, earning first-team honors in 2002. She also was an athletic trainer for three years and was captain of her club team.
Personal
Jennifer Anne Case is the daughter of Leon and Carin Case. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
