Biography
At Cornell
Palmer had a solid first season at Cornell, starting in 15 of the 16 games she appeared in, posting a 4-11-0 record to go along with her 2.33 goals-against average and a .643 save percentage. Palmer recorded her first shutout in her home debut, making four saves in the Big Red's 1-0 overtime victory over Hartford. She later recorded a clean sheet in the Big Red's 3-0 win over Siena. She made a season-high seven saves in the second game of the year at St. John's.
At Tahoma
Palmer was a two-time first-team all-state honoree as a goalkeeper at Tahoma HS while also earning first-team all-area and all-league three times. She was a three-time team most valuable player and a four-year varsity starter, leading her team to the 2005 state championship, posting six shutouts along the way. She was a three-year team captain for her club team, Dosveedanya, and helped her side to the state finals three straight years from 2003-2005, winning the title in 2004. An outstanding student, she graduated in the top five percent of her class as a Washington State Scholar with distinguished honors.
Personal
Jodi Palmer is the daughter of Kim Palmer and has an older sister. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
