Biography
As a senior (2019)
• Started 12 games and came on as a reserve in the other three, wrapping up a collegiate career that saw her compete in 58 out of a posslbe 60 contests.
• Logged 796 minutes, primarily in the midfield, taking seven shots toward goal and forcing one save.
As a junior (2018)
• Appeared in all of team's 15 games, including 12 starts.
• Continued to be a fixture in the midfield, logging a career-high 907 minutes.
• Took four shots with two on target.
As a sophomore (2017)
• Among more frequent starters as outside midfielder, starting in 10 of 12 appearances.
• Tied for fifth on the team with 813 minutes played.
• Tied for second on the team with four shots on goal.
As a freshman (2016)
• One of the team's most impactful newcomers, starting in 12 and appearing in all 16 of team's games.
• Tied for third in team scoring with three points on one goal and one assist.
• First collegiate goal proved to be the game-winner Oct. 15 against Yale, corralling Kennedy Yearby's flick on Whitney Farber's throw-in, then muscling a shot through hands of the goalkeeper.
• Had rare distinction of earning a point in collegiate debut, assisting on Paige DeLoach's early goal Aug. 28 at Siena.
Prior to Cornell
• NSCAA All-American and Washington Post All-Met Player of the Year in 2015.
• Two-time all-state first team selection and 2015 NSCAA All-Region Team South honoree.
• Competing at club level with Maryland United Coyotes, winning five consecutive state cups, the 2012 USYS national championship, and the 2013 and 2016 USYS National League championships.
• Member of the Science, History, Spanish, English and Engineering National Honor Societies.
• AP Scholar with Distinction.
Personal
• Juliana Claire Comer is the daughter of Michael and Toni Comer, and she has one brother and one sister.
• Enrolled in the College of Engineering.
