Biography
Junior Season — 2016
Hale worked her way into three games, where she appeared in the midfield and registered one shot on goal.
Sophomore Season — 2015
Hale appeared in one game, helping the Big Red secure a 3-0 victory over Cleveland State on Sept. 4 in the first game of St. Bonaventure's Alumni Classic.
Freshman Season — 2014
Hale worked her way into three games, appearing as a substitute in three October contests against Colgate, St. Bonaventure amd NJIT.
Prior to Cornell
Hale was a three-time all-league selection for The John Cooper School and was named the team's most valuable player for her senior season. She was also named the Rotary Scholar Athlete of the Year for girls' soccer. Hale competed on the club level for the Texas Rush in the Elite Clubs National League.
Personal
Lindsay Anne Hale is the daughter of David and Patricia Sue Hale, and has a sister and a brother. Her mother competed for the field hockey and lacrosse teams at Penn State, helping the Nittany Lions win the 1980 national title in lacrosse. Her great uncle and cousin attended Cornell. She is also the great niece of Bucky Waters, one time men's basketball coach at West Virginia and Duke and current basketball announcer with ESPN and MSG. She is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
