Biography
At Cornell
Wick was a solid contributor in the midfield for the Big Red as a senior, making 16 appearances and 15 starts in her final season. She scored her first assist of the season on Sept. 14 against Siena, and then scored her first goal of the year in the Big Red's 3-1 loss at Dartmouth on Nov. 3. Wick was a mainstay in the midfield for the Big Red, starting all 16 games that she appeared in as a junior. She collected an assist in Cornell’s win over Yale on Oct. 14, the second helper of her career. She appeared in 14 games as a sophomore, scoring the game-winning goal against Buffalo and adding an assist against Robert Morris that season. During her freshman campaign, she started 15 of the 17 games she played in.
At Sammamish
Wick was a three-time first team all-league selection as a forward at Sammamish HS. A King County Journal Scholar-Athlete of the Year finalist, she was also named her team MVP and team captain and led her club team to the 2004 state championship.
Personal
Mariye Elisa Wick is the daughter of Tom and Marianne Wick. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
