Biography
At Cornell
Joerger came off the bench to make 10 appearances for the Big Red as a junior. She tallied one shot on goal in the Big Red's win against Niagara on Sept. 21. Joerger saw action in four games during her sophomore season, recording an assist against Bucknell on Oct. 3. She competed in 14 games as a freshman, starting 11. Joerger scored her first collegiate goal on Sept. 16 against Canisius.
At San Clemente
Joerger, a three-year varsity starter at sweeper, was CIF champion in 2003 and 2004. A second-team all-league selection her senior season as well as a captain, Joerger was also named Gatorade Player of the Year for 2005.
Personal
Megan Elizabeth Joerger is the daughter of Michael and Lucille Joerger and she has an older brother and an older sister. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
