Biography

At Cornell
McLeod made three appearances for the Big Red before suffering a season-ending injury. She made her first start of the year on Sept. 2 at St. John's, and appeared in games at Hofstra and against Siena before getting injured. McLeod appeared in 13 games as a sophomore, earning seven starts. She came on strong at the end of the season, starting six of the squad’s final eight contests. She appeared in 10 games as a freshman, starting twice.

At Lord Beaverbrook

During her four years at Lord Beaverbrook HS, McLeod was twice named as the top female athlete at the school. She was also nominated as the top female athlete in the city of Calgary. Playing for the U-18 club team, McLeod led the squad to a provincial championship and a national bronze medal.

Personal

Stacey Alysha McLeod is the daughter of Allan and Shari McLeod, and her older brother Kevin is a 2007 Cornell graduate. She is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
