2025-26 | JUNIOR SEASON
Named Cornell's Academic All-Ivy selection and earned CSA Scholar-Athlete Award ... compiled 7-10 record, competing between No. 4-6 positions ... went 4-9 at No. 6, 2-1 at No. 5 and 1-0 at No. 4 ... won first two matches, defeating Middlebury's Caroline Didden (Nov. 15) and Williams' Alicia Chen (Nov. 16) in four games ... posted a straight-game victory over Tufts' Sejal Virk (Nov. 23) to earn third win in first four matches ... opened Ivy League play with four-game win over Dartmouth's Kriti Muthu (Jan. 17) ... defeated Columbia's Eugenia Li in five games (Feb. 7) ... won first two matches at CSA National Team Championships, defeating Amherst's Fionnoula Brandon (March 5) in five games before defeating Penn's Anne Leakey (March 6) following a retirement in first game.
2024-25 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Finished season with 5-11 dual match record, primarily competing from No. 5 position ... lone match not at No. 5 came against Trinity in Howe Cup quarterfinals (March 7) ... collected consecutive victories against Amherst's Brigid Brandon (Dec. 8) and Dartmouth's Zayna Usman (Jan. 11) ... all five victories came in matches lasting at least four games ... defeated Drexel's Lydia Robinson in round of 16 match at CSA National Championships (March 6) to snap six-match losing streak.
2023-24 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Concluded first collegiate season with 8-10 record, competing between No. 4 and No. 5 positions ... lone victory at No. 4 position came against Chatham (Dec. 1) in five-game match after dropping first two games ... posted 7-8 record from No. 5 position ... opened season with victories in first five matches, four of which came in contests of at least four games (three four-game matches and one five-game match) ... only one of her eight wins came in straight games.
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Played four years of squash at The Baldwin School, earning First Team All-Inter-Ac honors each year ... named co-captain for 2022-23 season, where she played exclusively at No. 1 position and was named team MVP ... aided Baldwin School to finals of HS Squash Championship in consecutive years (2022 & 2023) ... won Middle School Nationals twice ... ranked as high as No. 10 in GU19 division ... placed No. 9 in U.S. National Squash Championships.
PERSONAL
Christa Caroline Kay is the daughter of William and Alyssa Kay, and has an older sister, Theresa, who plays squash at Williams College ... enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
