Biography
As a senior (2017-18)
• Won season's only appearance in a scoring match, rolling to a victory in three games against an opponent from William Smith on Jan. 14.
As a junior (2016-17)
• Appeared in the season's first two matches at the Cornell Round Robin, earning a three-game victory from the No. 9 position against an opponent from Dickinson.
As a sophomore (2015-16)
• Won only appearance in a scoring match, topping an opponent from William Smith at the No. 8 position of a non-league match on Feb. 7.
As a freshman (2014-15)
• Made her collegiate debut on Jan. 23; a sweep of an opponent from St. Lawrence in a three-game match from the No. 9 position.
Prior to Cornell
• Played at the No. 1 position and served as captain for both her junior and senior seasons at The Hotchkiss School.
• Three-time winner of the Hotchkiss Squash Prize and US Squash Scholar-Athlete Award.
• Two-time winner of the John C. Virden III '64 Leadership Award.
• First Honor Roll recipient in 2013-14 and won numerous Latin awards.
Personal
• Laura Julia Watson is the daughter of Brian and P.J. Watson, and she has a twin brother.
• Brother, James, competed with the squash team at Penn.
• Enrolled in the College of Engineering.
