Biography

CSA Scholar Athlete (2020)

As a junior (2019-20)

• Named team's lone College Squash Association Scholar Athlete.
• Served as team tri-captain.
• Selected as team's most improved player for the year.
• Posted a 3-9 record while competing exclusively from the No. 5 position.
• Two of season's three victories came against same opponent from George Washington, starting with a rally to win in five games on Jan. 25, then a three-game sweep in the Kurtz Cup quarterfinals.

As a sophomore (2018-19)

• Vaulted into role as regular contributor by tying for team lead in victories on an 9-8 record from the middle three positions in the order.
• Won eight of season's final 11 matches, including two of three contests at the Kurtz Cup — which Cornell won.
• Tied for team lead with three Ivy League victories, defeating opponents from Columbia, Penn and Princeton (all from No. 6 spot).
• Victory against Princeton accounted for team's only point.

As a freshman (2017-18)

• Won collegiate debut with a three-game victory at the No. 5 position over an opponent from William Smith on Jan. 14.

Prior to Cornell

• Served as captain of a Deerfield Academy squad that was ranked No. 1 in New England and third nationally in 2017.
• Competed for two years at Deerfield, having also played for two years at Episcopal Academy.
• Competing out of the Philadelphia Squash Racquets Association, achieved her highest national GU19 ranking of 34th.
• Has ranked as high as the top 20 at other levels, and represented Pennsylvania in the 2015 US Squash Regional championships.
• Four-time US Squash Scholar Athlete Award recipient.

Personal

• Mary Glass deLisser is the daughter of Gerard and Lou deLisser.
• Enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
