Biography

As a junior (2019-20)

• Won four of five appearances in scoring matches, competing from the bottom three positions on the ladder.
• Recorded first career Ivy League victory with a three-game sweep of an opponent from Brown at No. 9 on Jan. 12.

As a sophomore (2018-19)

• Won only two appearances in scoring matches, both coming the No. 8 position.
• Debuted with strong three-game victory over opponent from Williams on Nov. 17.
• Closed out team's regular season with three-win against St. Lawrence on Feb. 10.

As a freshman (2017-18)

• Won collegiate debut with a three-game victory at the No. 6 position over an opponent from William Smith on Jan. 14.

Prior to Cornell

• Competing out of the Maryland Squash Racquets Association, achieved highest GU19 national ranking of 41st.
• Played on a squash team at McDonogh School that consisted of primarily boys, helping lead the team to a Division II national championship.
• Came in third at the 2017 Silver Junior Nationals in April 2017,
• US Squash Scholar Athlete Award winner.

• Samira Gowri Chatrathi is the daughter of Sridhar and Prema Chatrathi, and she has one brother and one sister.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
