2022-23 | SENIOR SEASON
Won both of her appearances on the season at the No. 7 position, defeating players from St. Lawrence (Nov. 19) and Wesleyan (Jan. 20).
2021-22 | JUNIOR SEASON
Debuted at No. 9 position, winning a three-game match against Bates ... appeared in seven matches, recording a 4-3 record from the bottom four positions on the ladder.
2020-21 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-29 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Debuted with a pair of appearances at the No. 9 position, winning three-game matches against opponents from William Smith and Franklin & Marshall.
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Competing out of Greenwich Country Club, achieved highest national junior ranking of 53rd in GU19 ... two-time captain at St. Paul's School, competing for four years and three times winning the school tournament and Coach's Award ... member of Cum Laude Society for 2018-19 ... earned Academic Honors: First Testimonials three times, also with honors in 2015-16 ... aAlso competed for four years on the St. Paul's field hockey team.

Sydney Candice Bednar is the daughter of Andrew and Candice Bednar, and has two brothers ... parents are both Cornell alums ... enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
