Chai swam for eight years for the Markham Aquatics Club while attending St. Augustine Catholic HS … competed at the Canadian Swimming Trials from 2024-26 … a two-time Ontario swimming champion (2025, 2026).

Amy Chai is the daughter of Nan Zhang and Kun Chai … she has one younger sister … enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
