At Cornell
Senior Ana Goya Arce continued to be an asset to the Big Red last year and earned the team's second-best times in the 500, 1,000 and 1650 freestyle events. She is expected to have a strong senior campaign.
At Instituto Alpes Queretaro
A graduate of Instituto Alpes Queretaro, Goya Arce was a finalist in the Mexican nationals, finishing second in both the 50 and 100 breaststroke. She received the school’s excellence award for having the highest grade-point average and received the notable student award from Anahuac University.
Personal
Ana Goya Arce is the daughter of Maite Arce and Juan Goya, and she has one older sister. She is enrolled in Cornell's College of Arts and Sciences.
