As a senior (2016-17)
• Scored in the 200 fly with the fifth-fastest time in school history (2:04.70) at the Ivy League Championship meet.
• Earned team points in the 200 free and posted the sixth-best time at Cornell in the 100 fly (56.11) during the time trials.
• Posted the team's second-fastest times in both butterfly events during the season.
• Was the runner-up in the 1,000 free in the dual meet win at St. Bonaventure.
As a junior (2015-16)
• Competed in six dual meets during the season.
• Placed third in the 200 free at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational.
• Had second-place individual finishes in the 100 free against Columbia and the 200 free vs. Brown.
• Posted the team’s fourth-fastest time of the year in the 200 free (1:52.53).
As a sophomore (2014-15)
• Made the Ivy League Championship team in the 50, 100, 200 and 500 free.
• Scored in the 200 free, finishing 13th.
• Had a pair of top three finishes, placing second in the 200 free and third in the 100 free in a dual meet against Columbia.
• Won the 100 free against Dartmouth and Harvard and finished first in the 200 free against Binghamton.
• Ranked second on the team in the 200 free at 1:51.45, while her 500 free time was second-fastest on the team (4:58.23).
As a freshman (2013-14)
• Elling performed very well during her initial season with the Big Red and contributed tremendously to one of the team’s best seasons in many years.
• Primarily a mid-distance freestyler, Elling provided depth in the 200 and 500 free and often stepped up in the 100 free.
• In her first season with the team, Elling qualified for the Ivy League Championships.
• She was highly ranked on the team’s season’s best times list (fourth in the 500 free; third in the 100 free and second in the 200 free; attained two all-time top 10 performances (eighth in the 500 free and second in the 200 free) and is a member of two school record relay teams, the 400 and 800 free relays.
Prior to Cornell
• Elling was a five-year varsity letter winner at Burnsville HS.
• She was a senior co-captain and three-time team MVP.
• A five-time all-conference selection, Elling won six individual sectional titles and established three school records.
Personal
• Anna Rose Elling is the daughter of Dean and Mariko Elling and has an older brother.
• She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
