Four-time GHSA 6-7A State Championship qualifier (2017, 18, 19, 20) ... holds Dunwoody High School’s 100-butterfly record ... served as team captain of her Dunwoody team as a senior ... competed on the club circuit for Dynamo Swim Club.

Ashley Kay Altera is the daughter of Allan and Barbara Altera and has two siblings, a sister and a brother ... her father, Allan, attended the U.S. Naval Academy, while her mother, Barbara, attended the U.S. Air Force Academy ... she is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
